No-Oceans.com Logo Design
This is the new logo for No-Oceans.com, my design, identity and branding business. I decided that the logo needed to be updated, so after a number of revisions, came up with this offering. The name of the business came from an idea in the early days that the world was inter-connected now by technology and it was if there were not any oceans anymore to separate people and countries. With this in mind, I designed the new logo to be as connected as possible, whilst remaining simple and easily recognisable. The one small ‘flourish’ is the curving of the ‘c’ to show a wave effect. I also wanted this letter to almost look a little hand-drawn to reflect the illustrative services offered.
The new logo replaces one that has pretty much been used since I first set No-Oceans.com up as a web design business back in the late 1990’s. The image below shows this logo. I must admit that it looks a bit dated now, but at the time served me well. (fonts used in the old logo were Impact for the main logo and Bank Gothic for the tag line.
